We thank everyone who makes this broadcast possible, today, Friday, April 2nd, Good Friday.<\/p>\n

We hear the accounts of the sufferings of Jesus Christ narrated by St. John in chapters 18 and 19.<\/p>\n

(Gospel)<\/p>\n

Jesus Christ, the Righteous, intercedes for us and reconciles us with the Father.<\/p>\n

Let us therefore open our spirits to repentance to celebrate this Good Friday. We sing, which is to pray twice the Kirie eleison, which is a plea said in the Greek language which means: Lord, have mercy.<\/p>\n

-You who have been sent to heal afflicted hearts. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

-You who have come to call sinners. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

-You who are seated to the right of the Father to intercede for us. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

-You who are the way that leads to God the Father. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

-You who are the truth that enlightens the peoples. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

-You who are the life that renews the world. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

-You who came into the world to save us. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

-You who have made us reborn by the water and the Holy Spirit. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

-You who are the author of eternal salvation. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

-You who have destroyed sin and death with your resurrection. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

-You who have renewed the whole creation with your resurrection. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

-You who give joy to the living and life to the dead with your resurrection. Kirie eleison<\/p>\n

As we commemorate the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the life of the world sprang, let us pray to God the Father for all the people for whom his Son has died.<\/p>\n

For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

-Keep the unity of the Church Lord. For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

-Protect Pope Francis. For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

-Sanctify bishops, priests, deaconos, nuns, seminarians and all your holy people by your Spirit. For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

-Increase the faith and wisdom of catetechs preparing to receive the sacraments of baptism, communion and confirmation. For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

-Gather Christians in unity. For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

-Make the people of Israel come to fully achieve redemption. For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

-Enlighten with your grace those who do not believe in Christ. For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

-Make those who do not believe in God come to discover your love through the works of creation. For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

-Guide the thoughts and decisions of rulers. For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

-Grant your comfort to the troubled. For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

-Give your full forgiveness to the deceased. For the death of your Son, listen to us Lord.<\/p>\n

Our Father…<\/p>\n

May your blessing Lord descend abundantly upon this people, who have celebrated the Death of your Son in the hope of his holy resurrection. Come upon him your forgiveness, grant him your comfort, increase his faith, and guide him to eternal salvation. By Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.<\/p>\n
