He hated work and that&#8217;s why he distrusted Russian communism. &#8220;How can you trust a country that has the flag full of tools,&#8221; Facundo&#8217;s uncle said half-frightenedly.<\/p>\n<p>But the truth is that, beyond the joke of the Argentine troubadour, work and tools greatly helped in the construction and development of human civilization. Y a ello se encomend\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Sorpresa \u00a0causar\u00eda cuando la \u201cherencia\u201d irrumpiera, formando paisaje en un par de obras suyas, en un evento de Ars Latina celebrado en Baja California, M\u00e9xico, y sorpresa contundente causar\u00eda m\u00e1s tarde, en la expo <em>Del s\u00edmbolo a la met\u00e1fora<\/em>, inaugurada en 2010 en el Centro Cultural F\u00e9lix Varela, donde por primera vez el p\u00fablico tendr\u00eda conocimiento de una verdadera obra maestra realizada a base de estas herramientas: la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre.<\/p>\n<p>La pieza, titulada en realidad \u201cLa Virgen de pap\u00e1 y mi sue\u00f1o con El Cobre\u201d,\u00a0 ha sido promovida persistentemente en Cuba, reconocida por la conmovedora imaginaci\u00f3n del artista, y antologada en diversas publicaciones internacionales, especialmente en el enjundioso libro <em>La Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre en el alma del pueblo cubano<\/em>, del doctor Emilio Cueto.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4330\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4330\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4330\" src=\"https:\/\/www.palabranueva.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/cueto-300x264.jpg\" alt=\"Junto al investigador y coleccionista doctor Emilio Cueto\" width=\"300\" height=\"264\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.palabranueva.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/cueto-300x264.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.palabranueva.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/cueto.jpg 545w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4330\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Junto al investigador y coleccionista doctor Emilio Cueto<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>From then until today, a lot of water has run under the bridge, in completely different projects Denys San Jorge has been enphrased; but the pandemic that broke hard into almost every nation on the planet led it to rethink, like many artists, not only how to reach the public, but also how not to overlook the ravages of a crushing and worrying disease that has come to engest thousands of families in the world and seems to stop at nothing or nothing.<\/p>\n<p>When feelings are strong and vocation genuine, they cannot be seeded between four walls. They cannot be limited to a cultural institution. Deserted streets, hermetically closed doors, empty markets, silent fear, mistrust, uncertainty&#8230; The danger was everywhere. Equally the infinite poetry of art.<\/p>\n<p>He didn&#8217;t wait too long for St. George.
