PRAYER FOR EVERY DAY<\/p>\n
Saint Mary of Charity, Mother of the Lord
\nJesus, we venerate you with special affection and
\nLove.
\nWe praise you, Mother and Patron of the people
\nCuban, because you’ve been present at
\nall the struggles, sorrows and joys of your
\nPeople.
\nVirgin Mambisa, proclaimed and revered
\nby our veterans, we ask you to
\ntoday, as yesterday, be present in life
\nof your beloved people: this town you are looking for
\nlove, understanding and sincere union
\nof all Cubans.
\nWe offer you; the efforts of our
\nChristians, the work of our workers and
\npeasants, the study of our young people,
\nthe smile of our children, the pain of
\nour sick, the watchful and
\nquiet of all our mothers, the
\nloneliness of so many brothers, widows and
\norphans the generous delivery of our
\nmartyrs and the deceased, the noble and
\nsimple from our village
\nMother of Charity, reach your altar
\nCopper, so beloved and revered, the
\npleas we present to you.

Mary, live the difficulty in faith<\/p>\n
Recalling the prophecy of Simeon, who announced that the Child would be like a discussed flag and that a sword of pain would pierce the heart of the Mother (cf. Lk 2:34-35), he also celebrates the intimate union of the Blessed Virgin with the Son in the work of salvation: “The same love associates the Son and the Mother, \/ the same pain unieste them \/ and the same will to please you moves them”<\/p>\n
The elder Simeon, enlightened by the Holy Spirit, becomes a witness that “all things were fulfilled” according to the law, that the Gospel may arise. A Child “sign of contradiction”, a Mother called to a mesic motherhood of pain with her redeemer, and a God-fearing old man are the protagonists of the summary of the whole Gospel. Ancient and new alliance, Christmas and Easter: here are all the mysteries of salvation, here history is recapited, it is fulfilled in time, responding to the collaboration and expectation of the righteous of all times: Joseph and Anne.<\/p>\n
The Mother of God is the bond of union between two events of salvation, both by the words of Simeon and by the gesture of offering of the Son, symbol and prophecy of her priesthood of love and pain in Golgotha.<\/p>\n
Mary always responds with a confident faith, the same faith that at the time of the Annunciation makes her express that she is “the slave of the Lord”, who keeps in her heart what she does not yet understand, but who knows that it is God’s will, faith, that she draws her out of immobility for the same thing to climb the mountain, to the house of her cousin Elizabeth, who, to set out on her way to Bethlehem, than to rise at night and, next to Joseph, flee to Egypt.<\/p>\n
In haste Also Our Lady comes to meet us, the story of her find tells us of a storm and waves, of the need for the search for salt, of efforts and sacrifices, but of a faith that begins to walk, because everything is entrusted to God and because God all can and God wants the full happiness of man.<\/p>\n
