\ndampened by the millennial event.
\nCentury-old city,
\nborn irredient
\nof styping capital,
\nyou sheltered lords and servants
\nwithout asking reason,
\nwithout distinction,
\nand in your cobblestone streets
\ndeftly pardoned maidens
