“La renuncia histórica del obispo emérito de Roma Benedicto XVI, es un hecho que ha transformado la forma de entender la relación con el poder en la humanidad.” Con estas palabras, el Sr. Antonio Olivé, presentó el pasado jueves 18 de octubre en el Centro Cultural “Padre Félix Varela”, el documental: “Benedicto XVI: En Honor a la Verdad”. El también director del documental y CEO de Rome Reports, invitó a los asistentes a reflexionar en cuanto a la sabiduría y espiritualidad de Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger, un hombre que supo servir a Dios en todo momento, a pesar de los avatares impuestos por el destino.
La presentación contó con la presencia del Mons. Juan García Rodríguez, Arzobispo de la Habana, quien procuró el saludo y recibimiento de los asistentes. También realizaron comentarios previos a la puesta del repostaje, Mons. Giorgio Lingua, Nuncio Apostólico de su Santidad en la Habana y el Dr. Ramón Tallaj, presidente de la fundación que lleva su nombre y que contribuyó de forma decisiva con la materialización de la actividad.
“Benedicto XVI: En Honor a la Verdad”, es un documental de 48 minutos que explica la vida de Benedicto y sobre todo investiga los motivos de su histórica renuncia a través de entrevistas con expertos y testigos de primera mano.
