“The historical resignation of Bishop Emeritus of Rome Benedict XVI, is a fact that has transformed the way we understand the relationship with power in humanity.” With these words, Mr. Antonio Olivé presented last Thursday, October 18 at the Cultural Center “Father Felix Varela”, the documentary: “Benedict XVI: In Honor of truth”. The documentary director and CEO of Rome Reports invited attendees to reflect on the wisdom and spirituality of Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger, a man who knew how to serve God at all times, despite the avatars imposed by fate.
The presentation was attended by Archbishop Juan García Rodríguez, Archbishop of Havana, who sought the greeting and reception of the attendees. They also made comments prior to the commissioning, Msgr. Giorgio Lingua, Apostolic Nuncio of His Holiness in Havana and Dr. Ramón Tallaj, president of the foundation that bears his name and who contributed decisively to the realization of the activity.
“Benedict XVI: In Honor of Truth”, is a 48-minute documentary that explains Benedict’s life and above all investigates the reasons for his historic resignation through interviews with experts and first-hand witnesses.
