Although sailing off its territory, director Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love and Basketball, The Secret Life of Bees, Behind the Lights…), comes out of this start which, it seems, will have continuity. With the screenplay by Greg Rucka, the film is based on the comic of the same name, whose authors are Rucka and illustrator Leandro Fernández. Among others, it stars Charlize Theron, Kiki Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Luca Marinelli, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Marwan Kenzari.
