The arrival of the new Coronavirus in Cuba made the daily life of its inhabitants even more rugged. It is currently necessary to make long tails with zero insulation to acquire the basic hygiene and food items. Fortunately, thanks to God and the work of health and civil authorities, the number of sick people has been reduced and the country has begun to open up to a neo-normality. However, this new stage is accompanied by few questions, especially in Havana.

In the opinion of many, the Habaneros did not arrive properly in the first phase, they were pushed. The truth is, they’re already in it. Experience has to call chapter: each person must take care of themselves, otherwise she risks becoming a positive number among those infected by the microscopic virus.

Accompanied by personal and external experiences, the author makes an ethical assessment of Cuba’s current situation in times of pandemic. According to his judgment, the return to “normality” will involve essential changes in the life of the nation. For her, the key to success in the coming times is called integrity, respect for oneself and others in order to build a better country. “Cuba must be a homeland for all and not someone’s fiefdom,” he says.

In this interview with Antonio Ramón Ojeda Pozo, who introduced living statues in Cuba and has been the trainer of many of his interpreters, recounts the initial development of this new art in our country, its characteristics and requirements, technical aspects of this profession, in addition to its difficulties and realizations, which allows to develop in the reader a certain critical eye in the face of this new artistic manifestation.

The text makes a timely call for parents who underestimate the value of early grades of education in their children and do not give importance to unwarranted absences, without realizing how harmful these lacks of discipline are to the child, not just because they become part of their way of acting and will be repeated in the future , but because attendance in these grades ensures the development of certain skills and knowledge that the child must acquire day by day in order to perform the tasks expected of him and reach the necessary mastery at the end of the course.
