Every July 26th the feast of the fathers of the Blessed Virgin Mary and grandparents of Jesus, St Joaquin and Saint Anne, who are considered patrons of grandparents, is celebrated in the Catholic Church. Both were people of deep faith and trust in God. Through these two figures, Cardinal Juan de la Caridad García, highlights in this audition the importance of the educational role of grandparents in the family as depositors of faith and witness to the fundamental values of life.
The archbishop of Havana also recalls Cardinal Jaime Ortega, on the first anniversary of his death and asks the Lord for his eternal rest.
