En la mañana de este jueves tuvo lugar la graduación de los niños de quinto año de vida de la Guardería Padre Usera en la sala de Teatro de la Orden Tercera en la Habana Vieja.
Este precioso lugar, donde la compañía residente es La Colmenita, una de las instituciones teatrales infantiles más prestigiosas de Cuba, sirvió de escenario perfecto para acoger a padres y familiares que, entre lágrimas y aplausos, vieron como sus pequeños recibían el diploma de manos de Mons. Juan García, arzobispo de La Habana, y Sor. Teresa Vaz, directora de la guardería.
El programa del evento contó con la interpretación del coro formado por los niños graduados y dirigido por la profesora Carmen Rosa López. Se realizó también un panel coordinado por la Dra. Yumara Santana que contó con la Lic. Milagros Conte, metodóloga municipal del programa “Educa a tu Hijo”, quién agradeció la excelente labor que las Hermanas del Amor de Dios y todos los trabajadores realizan diariamente. Participaron también el maestro Rembert Egües, compositor del himno de la guardería, la Lic. Adelis Méndez, madre de uno de los niños graduados, y el arquitecto Orlando Márquez, quien expuso la importancia de este servicio de la iglesia católica y el impacto social que ha tenido en los veinte años de existencia.
Las Hermanas del Amor de Dios atienden, entre otros servicios, dos guarderías en La Habana. En estas instituciones reciben formación humana y educación en valores cristianos niñas y niños de familias en desventaja social, es un trabajo arduo guiado por el pensamiento del Padre Usera: “educar en, con y por el amor”.
