El intelectual laico dominicano, Roque Félix, miembro de la red de centros sociales de la Conferencia de Provinciales en América Latina (CPAL), fue el facilitador de este taller, lo que representó una dicha para los participantes.
Aunque una educación desde la Iglesia es en Cuba un sendero poco clarificado, los presentes estuvieron de acuerdo en que los tiempos actuales exigen modos de proceder diferentes, en medio de una sociedad civil que se amplía y con un pueblo que sigue viendo una esperanza en la opción educativa eclesial.
