La cita, a la que asistieron los catequistas de la Arquidiócesis de La Habana, así como niños y adolescentes de la Infancia Misionera, fue presidida por el arzobispo Mons. Juan de la Caridad García, quien invitó a misionar teniendo como máxima: “enseñar el Evangelio y amar al prójimo”.
En sus palabras, el pastor habanero también convidó a los animadores y formadores católicos a vivir el entusiasmo que el Evangelio regala e insistió en confiar en el Señor y dar testimonio de vida coherente. “Evangelicen con amor porque en sus manos puede estar el próximo Papa o una santa”, expresó.
