Este miércoles cuatro de abril en la Plaza del Santo Ángel fue bendecido el Centro de Evangelización San Pablo por Mons. Juan García, arzobispo de La Habana.
La orden de los paulinos que regresara a Cuba luego de 50 años, el 8 de diciembre de 2012 gracias a la anuencia del cardenal, entonces arzobispo de la ciudad, Jaime Ortega, ha venido desarrollando en uno de los locales del Arzobispado una pequeña tienda de libros sobre literatura religiosa adecuada a todas las edades y con diferentes precios.
Gracias a los esfuerzos de la familia paulina, en especial de Baldrich de Castro, Superior General de la Sociedad de San Pablo quien también se encontraba presente y de los padres Jesús Galaviz y Jesús Castillo que ofrecen su servicio en nuestra isla, este día, de gran significación por celebrarse la fiesta del beato Santiago Alberione, fue posible la bendición de este acogedor espacio que como versa la frase inscrita en una de las paredes del recinto pretende “que irradie el….”
Palabras de agradecimiento y ánimo expresaron varias de las personalidades eclesiásticas presentes como: Mons. Giorgio Lingua, Nuncio Apostólico de S.S. en Cuba, el Cardenal Jaime Ortega, el P. Faustino Hernández, Superior Provincial Méjico-Cuba y el P. Enrique Vázquez, Director General de Apostolado de la citada Provincia.
Este local pretende, unido a otras intensiones futuras, ser un espacio de búsqueda y consulta de literatura religiosa, documentos y encíclicas, ya sea en formato digital o impreso. Se desea vender libros y otros artículos, materiales para la formación de niños, adolescentes, jóvenes y toda la familia cristiana en general.
Para este 30 de junio, día que los padres paulinos celebran su fiesta, está prevista la inauguración y apertura al público.
