This Wednesday four of April in the Plaza del Santo Angel was blessed the Center of Evangelization San Pablo by Msgr. Juan García, Archbishop of Havana.
The order of the Paulines to return to Cuba after 50 years, on December 8, 2012 thanks to the consent of the cardinal, then archbishop of the city, Jaime Ortega, has been developing in one of the premises of the Archbishopric a small book store on religious literature suitable for all ages and with different prices.
Thanks to the efforts of the Pauline family, especially Baldrich de Castro, Superior General of the Society of St. Paul who was also present and parents Jesús Galaviz and Jesús Castillo who offer their service on our island, this day, of great significance for the celebration of the feast of Bl. Santiago Alberione, it was possible to grant this cozy space that as vertined the phrase inscribed on one of the walls of the enclosure aims “that irradie the….”
Words of gratitude and encouragement expressed several of the ecclesiastical personalities present such as: Msgr. Giorgio Lingua, Nuncio Apostólico de S.S. in Cuba, Cardinal Jaime Ortega, Fr. Faustino Hernández, Superior Provincial Mexico-Cuba and Fr. Enrique Vázquez, Director General of Apostolate of the aforementioned Province.
This place aims, together with other future tensions, to be a space for the search and consultation of religious literature, documents and encyclicals, whether in digital or printed format. It is desired to sell books and other articles, materials for the formation of children, adolescents, young people and the whole Christian family in general.
For this June 30th, the day that the Pauline parents celebrate their party, the opening and opening to the public is planned.
