An encounter with Christ in the beautiful nature of the fields of Cuba was one of the proposals that young people of the youth ministry of Havana enjoyed this summer.
Together with the New Evangelization camp team, which coordinated the experience, the youth lived through challenges, challenges, moments of prayer, meditation and silence, the great story of Robert Fisher’s book, The Oxidized Armor.
With the help of the medieval knight who stars in this story, the participants carried out a personal work of reflection, meeting Christ and himself, as well as playing and enjoying the wonderful landscape of the fields of San Antonio de Cabezas in Matanzas.
New Evangelization, based in Havana, has been offering workshops and training meetings for children, adolescents and young people, animators and leaders for more than 20 years. It has a mission group whose work constitutes a true exercise of evangelization in rural areas and intricate communities of Cuba. His camping team also offers the possibility of unique experiences of faith in exchange with nature, through dynamics, challenges and reflections.
