The Cardinal Archbishop, Juan de la Caridad García, blessed from the Christ of Havana to the City and the Archdiocese in its four terms (north, south, east and west).

On November 16th and on the occasion of the 500th years of Havana, cardinal archbishop Juan de la Caridad García blessed from the Christ of Havana to the City and the Archdiocese on its four terms (north, south, east and west), in a religious ceremony that impressed by the dynamism printed by young people.

Returning to the four cardinal points of the City and with the Cross of Christ in front of him, the pastor of the Havana Church invoked with those present the abundance of divine graces so that Havana would continue to write its history with security and wealth. With this rite of blessing from the north, south, east and west, the 33 municipalities that make up the ecclesiastical province were reached, including the territory of the Isle of Youth.

The Cardinal and Archbishop of Havana asked the Habaneros to pray a great lot to God so that each family may become a convent of love, peace and harmony. This solitude reaches greater distinction by being made from a place where the figure of Christ stands, a monument recognized by the inhabitants of this City as a symbol of it.
