The parish project “La Casa Verde” arises from the need of children and adolescents in the community of El Cobre to enhance their artistic skills, based and on the basis of the care and protection of the environment, the main work of the creation of our God.
This project, inserted in the Culture Commission of the Parish of El Cobre, invites you to participate in the National Children’s Drawing Competition: “The Virgin of Charity in my family and my community”.
All children and adolescents in the country will be able to participate in the ages between 5 and 14 years of age, it is notos will compete in three categories:
• 1st. Category: 5 to 8 years old.
• 2nd Category: 9 to 12 years old.
• 3rd Category: 13 and 14 years old.
The drawings will represent the loving presence of our Mother the Virgin of Charity in the family and community where you reside.
One (1) work may be submitted by Watsapp to the following telephone number +53 52372596 or to the following email address: padrerogeliodean@gmail.com , clearly specifying your name(s) and surnames, age, home address and parish or parish community to which you belong. If desired, you can send a photo of the contestant by taking or presenting the drawing.
One (1) prize per category will be awarded consisting of: mobile top-up coupons worth $15.00 CUC.
The admission period expires at 24 hours on Sunday, May 31 (Solemnity of Pentecost) and the jury’s decision is final.
In this month of May, dedicated especially to the Virgin Mary Mother of God, we encourage you, from home to show with your drawings the love you feel for our Mother of Heaven. From El Cobre, Casa Mayor de la Patrona de Cuba we pray for you and your family.

Children and adolescents living abroad will also be able to send their drawings. Among them will be chosen 3 mentions according to category. These works will be presented as offerings to Our Lady in her Sanctuary of El Cobre.
